25th (LATE POST)

6 years ago, I wrote a letter to my future 25-self. My childlike and immature 19 year old self wished that my life right now is so much better than what she had. The thing is, I want to apologize to her because now I'm 25 and I'm broke. My career sucks and my savings plummeted to earth. But I do, however, have the kind of life where I am continously challenged. I took so many chances that I never thought I’d ever risk. We all have our bad year/s, and my 24th was definitely one of them. To cope, I explored. I have learned so much through such relentless and glutinous curiosity about the world and why I seem to fail at everything. It was the year that I failed spectacularly but I got back up and spent money on travels and buffets (haha). I met so many inspiring and amazing people and hearing their stories are a lot better than whatever stuff you read in Thought Catalog. All I really want to say is that we all feel lost no matter what age. You don’t always have to pressure yourself to go out and be somebody. Life is short but there’s so much to learn and to do so do not rush it. It takes a lot of effort and a lot of mishaps to completely figure your life out so you need the best people around who can support you with that, so choose wisely.

Growth happens when you go through series of unfortunate events and also through the times you sucked yet survived anyway! (Daming sinabi..) ðŸ˜‚cheers to all the lost kids like me!
