Isang linggong pag-ibig.

Lights.
A lot can happen in a day, what more in a week? One week of diverse occurrences, most of it were tiring and exhausting, but on the top of it all, it was a wonderful week that I am considering as God’s early Christmas gift. =)

The long story begun last Friday, December 12, 2008:

I had my phone back! Hurrrrrrrah! I was really surprised when mom gave it to me along with my allowance for that day. Saya. Very fulfilling. Naka-survive ako ng 3 weeks without my phone. Akalain mo ‘yon?!!! Achievement na ‘yon. =)

Anyway, this day also marked my foremost witness of UP’S “Oblation Run” ha ha ha. Hindi na virgin ang mga mata ko. Nyahaha. “Ano hanah? Ayos ba? Welcome sa UP!” –now I’ll never forget that line.

December 13, 2008- Saturday: I was supposed to have my one class, but I guess our professor is too busy doing some other priorities again. Rawr.

December 14, 2008: Around 10 AM, my friend and I went to CCP to watch Coppelia; a ballet show with the live music presentation of Philharmonic Orchestra. The show was sooooooo captivating, very entertaining indeed. Filipino’s should watch this instead of Twilight (haha. Kidding) pero medyo inantok ako sa last part, 2 hours kasi yung show, wala lang. =)

and then, my family and I went to Malate Church, afterwards went to MOA, and had dinner together.

December 15, 2008: 8:30 A.M. I went to school EVEN THOUGH I don’t have any classes for that day. I actually just wasted my whole day in school, doing nothing significant except for the list of my term paper sources that must be submitted on that day.

December 16, 2008: I needed to go to Museo Pambata for my NSTP 2 class.

And after that, I went to MOA with my dear buddies, spent time at Starbucks then lakad-lakad lang.

December 17, 2008: HETO NA. First stop was Cara’s house in QC, puro lakad, as in lakad marathon talaga. But the nice thing there was I couldn’t feel any weariness at all, siguro konti lang. and then we arrived at Cara’s place, had lunch, watched dvd (Vacancy) and exchanged gifts. =) afterwards, went to SM north, had a jeepney ride to UP diliman to witness the lantern parade.

meet PAOI, my new baby panda (gift I received sa exchanged gifts

It was almost 6PM when we arrived at UPd. Jam-packed ang UPd that time and we walked around the whole campus, sight-seeing the lanterns and spectacular views, chill sa sunken garden and had picturesss! (compare naman sa UPm, no doubt na mas maganda talaga ang UPd campus) all the while I wasn’t much aware of the exhaustion and I neglected the complaints of my whole body. But I had fun, all in all, despite the unwanted circumstances.

December 18 2008: Thursday came, the debut of my block mate in Lyceum, mommy-mommyhan ko sa Lyceum, I never thought she would still remember me and even included me in her 18 treasures.

One friend wanted to hang-out with me, and another, and another. But I decided I couldn’t handle all of them, sadly I couldn’t go out because of some problems, especially the thought that some of my Lycean friends had their own dilemmas for the debut. One of them didn’t like the dress she is going to wear, one is worried with her dress too, and one doesn’t have any sandals to pair with her dress. So, it hits me that I didn’t want to attend the debut already, good thing God pushed me and gave me the buoyancy to pursue and help my lycean friends. So naging manager nila ‘ko ng di oras. =)

I arrived at Patio Victoria at around 7:30 PM. The program hasn’t started yet, as expected, it’s supposed to start at 6 PM. I’m utterly gratified because of my dear friend who accompanied me while I was waiting for my delayed lycean pals. Around 8:30, the debut started, the ceremonies went on, until it was almost 10:30 when the treasures were called. Treasures were last on the list by the way, and mind you, I was also last on the list of treasures, and with that, I went home a little late.

I walked on the dim and spine-chilling street of Padre Faura (almost 12 midnight), I was praying like crazy while I walk my way to Robinsons.

Thank God I went home with my complete body parts.

December 19 2008: are you tired reading this? =) I’m not requiring you to finish this until the end, because I myself am tired of typing. =)) but if you insist, I’ll continue with the story. =)

Anyway, this day was the Christmas Party of my Lycean buddies and I. they wanted to have a pool party so it was done on my place, 1 pm is the said meeting time, yet we were completely settled at around 3 pm. The pool was incredibly cold; we were freezing as we look like squid balls floating aimlessly in the pool.

We ended the so-called party as we ate our merienda/dinner at KFC Robinsons. But before I went there, I was with my friend buying a gift for our exchange gifts session (yes! that’s the only time I had to buy my gift for her) ha ha ha. It was fun, superbly enjoyable yet tiring. (again)

December 20, 2008: I was supposed to have another Christmas Party with my closest high school girl friends. But it was a bit unorganized, no plans were made sturdily and surely, so I decided to spend the day with my dearest someone =) ha ha. We watched TWILIGHT, (thinking were the only beings who haven’t watched it yet) after that, I went on criticizing Twilight, I don’t know, it’s such a waste of money for me. =)) I think it could’ve been better to just read the book and elevate our widest imaginations rather than spending money for the lame movie enactment. PEACE to all Twilight fanatics.

So there. Here goes Sunday. MY DAY. FINALLY! I wanted it BADLY to have my own personal space/time/day/moment. Wherein I could think of nothing but myself; think of Christmas, think of my family, think of how I could savor my 17th year.

I would never forget this Christmas break, as you could see how I spent my first week out of the house and loafing around anywhere. Yet I am still thinking of the past events, the people whom I refused to meet, the people whom I think would’ve been part of my long week story, a bit saddened, frustrated because no matter what I do, I can never cut my body into pieces. Oh well, I have to just focus on what’s ahead of me right now and refuse looking back.

HAPPY HOLIDAYS EVERYONE.
