I never had any keen interest in creating a "new year's resolution/s." I don't know why. I barely remember any resolution that I have successfully accomplished. Maybe because I never wanted to set any goals for the coming year and fail at it, and feel bad about it. You see, I am no good in setting goals or plans, I'd rather be with the flow and maybe against it once in a while. So yea, I suck at making plans. But here's an idea, I made a list of plans/to-do's that I would like to accomplish in two years. I started writing these down last year, it's entitled "Things I want to do before the end of 2009/2010. But I'm quite troubled that I wont be able to do it within two years, so if I'm not able to, I'm going to give it another year.
Here's the list:
-Make out with a total stranger
-Drink and drive
-Drop out of school
-Sneak out in the middle of the night and go to a bar
-Learn how to smoke
-Be a total loser
(NAAHH.. JUST KIDDING!)
Here's the real list
First of all, these are the places I want to revisit with anyone I want to be with:
-Starcity [ ]
-Enchanted Kingdom [ ]
-Ecopark [ ]
-Ocean Park [ ]
-Manila Zoo [x]
-Go to any bar [x]
Yes, I've been to Manila zoo last year 09. Because it surely is no trouble getting in there.
Things I want to do
-Imax 3 times - just one so far.
-Ice Skating
-Learn Bass
-Have another sim card, SUN. [X]
-Save half amount of money required for a Shih Tzu [X]
-Swimming with tooot. [ ]
-Have Braces [ ]
-LEARN HOW TO DRIVE [ ]
-Buy colored pens [ ]
-Ride a roller coaster [ ]
-Learn how to bake or cook serious foods [ ]
-Kiss momma at least 5 times a week [ ]
-Have QT (quality time) with my brothers [ ]

-Add a quotation at the end of every blog entry [ ]
I know some are pretty lame or stupid. I really don't know what else to do. Hahaha. Some are incredibly easy and some are drop-dead difficult. But it's not bad to set a goal that may look like unreachable, and just be the person that you should be to attain that one. Life is short as they say. I'd like to finish this year thinking that I have done things I never thought I could. It is one of those strategies that enable us to redefine ourselves and open ourselves to the things we aren't used to.
With that understanding, we realize that our choices maybe more powerful than what we are. We can be someone we never thought we'll be. And I think that is the reason why people want to create their own resolutions; to do something that they once thought was impossible.
