Sex and other drugs

These three films have one thing in common: Sex before Love. Or Sex before Romance. Or Lust before Love? I actually admire these movies, (although I haven't seen Friends with Benefits yet even if I'm so eager to feast my eyes on Mila Kunis hot bod) I find it so realistic to the point that it got me thinking, how do you differentiate love and raging hormones? How can these films affect our notions of love and relationships? One of the notable things that I've pondered on from these films is that, a girl can have as much libido as a normal guy has. Hahaha, just kidding. Seriously, it is important that one distinguishes the difference between love and lust. They come together sometimes, sure. Building and maintaing a serious relationship takes time and effort (sounds overrated) but it's true, it's necessary. So if you want a sex partner, go for it, look for one who wouldn't seriously fall in love with you. But if you want a serious sex partner? Nah, that's not possible. It'll only complicate things. For these films, the formula is: Friends/Acquaintances + Sex + Gazillion awesome and satisfying sex + Confused emotions/ Jealousy/ Falling inlove + Falling apart/ Cool off + Missing each other = Love and commitment.
